As we all know before the Hayden-Halili-Belo sex video explodes in the mainstream public eye, there was the controversies of Angel Locsin s alleged sex video wherein it was proven she was not indeed the girl on the video rather a Korean “prosti” girl that have similar facial resemblance to her; and there was also other celebrity sex videos that was not that kind of controversial because of the utter denial of the celebrity involved in the sex video scandal.

 But with the Hayden-Halili sex video, the whole Philippine Entertainment industry was shock that it was indeed the real Dr. Hayden Kho,Jr. and Ms. Katrina Halili were in the video doing things which should not be shown in the public stage; and should not be seen by Dr. Hayden Kho’s famous longtime girlfriend – Dra. Vicky Belo (the famous beauty expert in the Philippines).By their own confession and Katrina Halili suing a lawsuit against former sex-partner Dr. Hayden Kho of alleged proliferation of the sex video and the recording of their sexual encounter have certified and verified that it was indeed them who are in the sex video, which consequently brought great pain and wrath to Dr. Hayden Kho’s girlfriend Dra. Vicky Belo of the discovery she have found against her boyfriend in an embarrassing and humiliating way which also prompts her to file a lawsuit but eventually she never pursue it for she was also in great suspicion by the public that she is behind the proliferation of the sex video by her own admittal that she sometimes meddle with Kho’s computer gadget.

 Thus, it was concluded that before the sex video explodes in the internet world and on the mainstream TV media and prints, Dra. Vicky Belo already knew it and in revenge for what she has discovered against her boyfriend she asks for someone to upload the video in the internet, but this conclusion is kind of lame due to Dra. Vicky Belo’s good image was also marred by the sex scandal. If she intends to have a smear campaign against Dr. Hayden Kho, she too will suffer the consequences because she was known to be his girlfriend in the public. Thus, a number of close friends with them were accused of doing the spreading of the sex video, but leave a cliff-hanging question : Who commands them to upload it and if no one commands them, what is their motive of doing so?

 This one sex video have eventually marred the good image of these three Philippine celebrities which cause Dr. Hayden Kho’s license as a doctor to be cancelled; Katrina Halili’s showbiz gigs and commercials were banned thus losing her showbiz career but eventually now she is recovering from it through the help of her home network- GMA 7, giving her another chance; and Dra. Vicky Belo’s trust ratings were drop or decline.

 Infidelity, betrayal, premarital sex, the psychology of recording a sexual act, court dramas, and free internet show of the sex video which only happens in a movie becomes real which indeed entertains many. Thus, it was become one of the controversial happenings in the Philippine Entertainment industry, that even you if you have watch the sex video will promptly to sing the song they sang before they do a sexual intercourse, the “Careless Whisper” song.

Appeals court clears Hayden Kho in 'sex video' case

 The Court of Appeals has cleared controversial cosmetic doctor-turned-celebrity Hayden Kho Jr. of criminal liability in the uploading of an intimate video he took of himself and actress Katrina Halili in 2009.

In an eight-page decision penned by Associate Justice Manuel Barrios, the CA’s Second Division affirmed the January 25, 2011 ruling of Pasig City Regional Trial Court Branch 159 which dismissed Halili’s case against Kho for violation of Republic Act No. 9262, or the Anti-Violence Against Women and Children Act.

Halili filed the case against Kho after the video, which she claimed was filmed without her consent, went viral in 2010.

The CA upheld the trial court's dismissal of the case on the grounds that the prosecution did not to submit enough evidence proving that Kho videotaped their encounter without her consent, or was responsible for uploading the videos.

“It is our considered view that public respondent did not commit grave abuse of discretion in denying due course to the appeal. A petition for certiorari must show that the trial court committed an act in such a capricious, whimsical manner that the abuse of discretion becomes patent and gross as to amount to an evasion of a positive duty or a virtual refusal to perform a duty enjoined by law,” the CA ruled.

The appellate court pointed out that the trial court hearings established that there were instances in which Halili knew she was being filmed by Kho.

The trial court noted the filming then would not have caused Halili mental and emotional anguish.

Regarding Halili's claim that the video's being made public caused her emotional and psychological distress, the trial court said that she failed to substantiate her claim that Kho was responsible for uploading and disseminating the video.

Concurring with the ruling were Associate Justices Remedios Salazar-Fernando and Normandie Pizarro.

In July, another division of the appeals court affirmed the ruling of the Professional Regulation Commission to revoke Kho's license to practice medicine after he was found guilty of immorality, dishonorable and unethical conduct.

The PRC’s investigation on Kho stemmed from a Senate inquiry on the scandal. The regulatory body’s ruling upheld that of the Board of Medicine which recommended that Kho’s license be recalled.

Records claimed that the recording sex occurred within two weeks after Kho performed a liposuction procedure on Halili on August 22, 2007. She claimed that the doctor-patient relationship between them still existed. - BM, GMA News
